What to know
- We require a $100 deposit for each booking (per trip, per boat).
- Max of 3 clients per boat.
- We will discuss pickup times and locations when we speak on the phone.
- You will need to purchase a Texas fishing license with a saltwater stamp.
- We accept cash and all major credit cards for payment
What to bring
- Texas fishing license with a saltwater stamp.
- Large brim hat (preferably with a dark colored brim).
- Sunscreen.
- Any food or drink you wish to have on the boat.
- Any medications you might need.
- Wading boots or waders (check with the captain to see if they are needed for your trip).
- Shoes or sandals with non-marking soles.
- Attire appropriate for the weather.
- Any fishing tackle you might prefer. We can provide tackle if you need us too. For fly gear we recommend 7-9wt with floating line. For artificial lure trips, we recommend 6’5″-8′ rods in 10-15lb rod classes. Spin or bait caster is fine.
Cancellation Policy
Non Weather Related Cancellations: Due to the nature of our business, a last minute cancellation leaves us little chance of filling a reserved space. You may cancel or reschedule your reservation 14 days prior to the reserved date without penalty or loss of deposit. Any cancellation within 14 days of the reserved date will not be refunded. However, your deposit may be used towards rescheduling a future trip within one year.
Weather Related Cancellations: Texas weather is often windy, wet, hot, cold and sometimes violent of which we have no control. Windy conditions, light drizzle and scattered storms are normally not reasons for cancellation. Consequently, we are very careful in consulting with the client before any decisions are made to cancel any trip. Captain Jones ultimately determines whether or not to cancel based on weather. Weather cancellation is based on client safety and comfort. If a weather cancellation occurs, you have the option of re-scheduling or obtaining a refund of deposit.
